Greenely raises another €4M in oversubscribed investment round

In its latest investment round, digital electricity company Greenely has raised €4M. Heavily oversubscribed, this investment round aims primarily to continue acceleration of the company's customer growth by expanding its investment in marketing and product development.

2021 was a record year for Greenely, with the number of paying customers increasing by more than 150% and the 4th quarter of 2021 becoming the fastest growing in the company's history. Greenely will use this new capital to continue marketing its services in order to further accelerate its growth.

β€œNaturally, we are delighted with the confidence shown in us by new and existing investors. Thanks to our unique offering of smart connections to electric cars and heating systems, for example, we can help our customers to optimise the heating of their homes and charging of electric cars to the hours when the electricity is at its cheapest. This significantly reduces electricity costs. The services we offer, combined with increasingly volatile and soaring electricity prices, have resulted in us experiencing an unbelievable influx of new customers recently,” says Tanmoy Bari, co-founder and CEO of Greenely.

Participants in this investment include investment companies such as Concejo AB (publ) and Backstage Invest as well as fund company Gainbridge Capital. Greenely has once again received great support from its existing owners, with Luminar Ventures, ByFounders and KTH Holding among those choosing to reinvest.
